About Us
The Department of Research and Evaluation Services at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare (HDGH) promotes excellence in every care experience by integrating research, evaluation and evidence into practice. We do this by providing services to support our employees, physicians and affiliated researchers in conducting research, evaluation and knowledge transfer and education (KTE) to benefit residents across the region.
The Department of Research and Evaluation Services focuses on providing research services to HDGH programs and plays a fundamental role in supporting the overarching Corporate Strategy of developing a Centre of Excellence in HDGH’s Mental Health and Addictions and Rehabilitative Care.
HDGH has established a research partnership with the University of Windsor to enable collaborative research projects that align with each organization’s mission/mandate and research agenda.
Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare is a proud partner of the WE-SPARK Health Institute.
The WE-SPARK Health Institute is a strategic partnership working to unite health research excellence across Windsor-Essex. A collaboration between the University of Windsor, Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, St. Clair College, and Windsor Regional Hospital, its mission is to enhance the health, well-being and care of people through transformative research and knowledge translation.

The Department of Research and Evaluation Services aims to enable HDGH to be a leader in developing research and evaluation programs that maximize the well-being of the patients, clients and residents that we serve. We promote excellence in every care experience by integrating research into practice. We do this by providing capacity building services that enable researchers to use knowledge for the benefit of residents across the region.
